I've always been driven by creativity. As a child, I painted. Today, I channel that same energy into photography.
In 2013, I had the chance to travel to Rwanda for work. Although my family has deep roots in East Africa, it was my first extended stay in the region — and it changed everything. I became captivated by the pace, dynamism, and complexity of emerging markets. The opportunity to problem-solve in these settings, and to see the impact of innovation unfold in near real-time, has shaped my professional path ever since.
For over a decade, I've worked to develop and scale innovation across Africa — particularly in East Africa — and, more recently, across the wider Global South through my work with Weaverbirds.
This website brings together two passions: photography and emerging markets. It's a space to document the journeys, people, and projects that continue to inspire me along the way.
