During my time living in Rwanda, I frequently travelled to Kenya, both for work and play.
Kenya is one of Africa’s most exciting growth stories: a vibrant hub of innovation, entrepreneurship, and creativity. With a young, tech-savvy population and a rapidly expanding digital economy, it continues to lead the region in technology, innovation and policy experimentation. From Nairobi’s startup scene to rural energy access initiatives, Kenya offers a dynamic environment for testing and scaling ideas that can shape the continent’s future.
As Weaverbirds deepens its focus in Kenya, I’ll be spending extended periods of time there, and no doubt, it will become a prominent theme in my photography.
