I’ve spent a lot of time in both Johannesburg and Cape Town over the years. Whether attending conferences, meeting tech developers, fishing beautiful rivers, or celebrating our honeymoon (!), South Africa is a place I’m always drawn to. Its energy is infectious, its landscapes unforgettable — yet the stark disparities between community groups remain deeply troubling, and something I’m committed to addressing through my work.
