Rwanda was my home for nearly a decade. It’s where I met my wife, built lifelong friendships, and created some of my most meaningful professional memories. I still try to visit once a year.

What’s always drawn me to Rwanda is its unique combination of rapid development and deliberate, systematic planning. The country is actively positioning itself as a regional innovation hub, with flagship initiatives like Norrsken House Kigali and a government vision that frames Rwanda as Africa’s “proof-of-concept” market. It offers an ideal sandbox for innovators to pilot, refine, and test new ideas for East Africa.

Weaverbirds will continue to explore and deliver new projects in Rwanda — a place that remains close to both my personal and professional journey.
